It’s been quite a whirlwind at our house. We were fortunate enough to see both sides of our family for Thanksgiving. We hosted this year, and we had family staying with us for 10 consecutive days. My first time of being in charge of Thanksgiving went well, and the new recipes that I tried were delicious (if I do say so myself–smile). Since our family headed home on Sunday, I’ve made two different types of Christmas cookies, decorated a gingerbread house with M, decorated our home for Christmas, and went to a Christmas-cookie-decorating party. Oh, I almost forgot. G was in a wedding last weekend, too. Whew! When will life slow down a bit? Not for awhile. Now I need to finish Christmas shopping, finish up a couple of things with our adoption dossier, start mailing it all over to get the official stamps we need, send out Christmas cards, wrap gifts, attend four or five holiday programs and parties, and mentally prepare to pack for our trip to WV. I’ve got a little over two weeks to get all of that done. Yikes! In all of the busyness, I made time to take a few pictures. Here’s a little peek into our past few days, and I’ll try to post an adoption update before long.
The Little People Nativity has returned. Both girls are enjoying it.
All of us helped to build this year’s gingerbread house.
Wow, you have been busy! It’s nice to hear about your week. You know I’m always up for cookies!
